Option 2: Text START

Text START to (419) 954-0300. You will get: "Don Baumstark: You're opted in to appointment and follow-up texts. Msg frequency varies (about 1-5/mo). Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out."

Option 3: Tell me by phone or in person

Before I text anyone, I read this and wait for a clear "yes": "Can I text you at this number about your appointment and follow-ups from Don Baumstark? It's about 1 to 5 texts a month, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP anytime to opt out or HELP for help. Terms and privacy are at donbaumstark.com/sms-terms." I log the date, time, and number. My first text then confirms: "Don Baumstark: Thanks for agreeing to texts about appointments and follow-ups. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out."
